Jenny's support is a recipe for success in heart nurse appeal
Celebrated TV chef and food author Jenny Bristow has proven to be a vital ingredient in a major fundraising drive to support the Northern Ireland Heart Nurse Appeal.
A competition to win an exclusive, hand crafted milk churn signed by Jenny, has raised the fantastic sum of £3300.
Collecting cans were placed in stores, filling stations and other businesses throughout Northern Ireland before Christmas. To be in with the chance of winning the churn, people simply had to write their details in a booklet and make an optional donation.
The Prize
An exclusive milk churn, designed and hand crafted by Louise Lester of LL Crafts and autographed by Jenny.
The Winner
Betty McDowell from Galgorm was the delighted winner of the milk churn and was presented with her prize by Jenny Bristow, the churn's creator Louise Lester of LL Crafts (coincidentally also in Galgorm) and Gail McKee, BHF Northern Ireland's fundraising and volunteer manager.
Runners Up
D Falconer from Drumahoe was the runner up and won a Jenny Bristow food hamper.
R McIlroy from Carrickfergus whose business collected the largest sum also received a Jenny Bristow food hamper.
